"Beautiful house and excellent property. Communication once we checked in was fabulous but a bit rocky prior to check in. We requested early check in (for 9:00 am) on Wednesday but received no confirmation until only about 2:00 Friday afternoon. They did waive the early check in fee so I guess that makes up for it."

"I was in the area for a wedding at The Wire and split my stay between a hotel and this property. The location was incredibly convenient, only about 18 minutes from the venue. The home was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax between wedding events. The interior is beautifully designed throughout, and we really enjoyed our stay!"

"This house is a gorgeous property that is great for large groups. The location is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot of space in the house and on the land. However, the property is not as well maintained as we would have hoped. The pool was not usable for the whole duration of our stay, due to algae growing in the pool (which typically happens due to lack of maintenance). This was really disappointing so we were in contact with them throughout the stay, the local maintenance team tried their best but they were not able to get the pool in usable shape. It's a gorgeous property, and I think with more regular maintenance it would be absolutely outstanding."

"We had a wonderful time in this VRBO. We brought our two small dogs with us and stayed a month. We cooked great meals in the lovely kitchen that contains all you need to prepare pretty much anything. Also there is a nice gas grill just outside the kitchen and an outdoor table and seating. We are both at the dining table and the kitchen island. We walked one block to get to the Main Street in Catskill that has many restaurants, shopping and stopping for coffee and delicious hand made vegan chocolates. Our dogs and we took many lovely walks together from this centrally located home. The back yard is quite large, beautiful and fully fenced. We noticed the house is fully set up for families with children (not our case but good to know). Also within easy walking distance of the community movie theatre. We connected to the internet easily and the television is large. There are video games and board games also. The home is light, airy, has a great sun porch and we loved our time there. Patricia, our host, was readily available and always nice (although everything went so smoothly we really didn’t have to contact her much). I have only positives about this listing and our stay here."

"This is a beautiful Victorian house with a vintage lagoon shaped pool and not far from the cute downtown area of Catskill. Rooms are spacious and the house has its original character. Our host was very responsive and helpful at every turn. Check in and out was easy. As other reviews have stated it's near an area with lots of shops but we found it convenient to be able to get what we needed late at night and in a short walk. From the pool in the back yard you feel like you are in a secluded hideaway."
