The text informing me of our room number didn’t materialise. A receptionist had to sort this out which negated the self-service check-in process. The “deluxe” double room was basic. The shower was the worst that we’ve ever had at an hotel. At maximum, the temperature was tepid at best. The shower was the overhead type (no flexible hose option) over the bath. A rather dated shower curtain was utilised, rather than a decent glass screen. The hotel was very convenient and the staff were polite. This is a basic hotel at best."

"The staff were amazing and bed was comfortable sadly that’s there the positives stop The bathroom was the biggest problem, a hole in the door, mould on the bath, rust on the shower, cracked tiles and broken bath signs I was told the room was the furthest away from the bar but could still hear loud music until midnight Great staff just the bathroom needs to be refurbished and cleaned"
