"The Golden Lion was absolutely wonderful and we will stay here again the next time I come to Bridgnorth to visit my musician friends. The room was surprisingly large and bathroom up to date for the historical age of the building. It was very relaxed, they served a lovely traditional UK breakfast and accommodated my gluten free needs as well as flexibility on our check in time due to a rehearsal I had to get to. The town of Bridgnorth is beautiful and the Golden Lion was right in the heart of high town with easy access and short walks to great restaurants, pubs, etc. "

"Perfect from start to finish, 2mins walk from shops and restaurants/pubs. 10min walk to steam railway. Cottage itself had everything needed loved the welcome basket of crossaints/mince pies/cereals etc. Nice large garden. Definitely return. Host was very friendly. Highly recommend this place"

"Excellent property, great location for Bridgnorth town with good parking and garden. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were quite small, making it difficult for two people to be getting ready at the same time. Overall lacking in hanging space. Bathroom and kitchen well equipped, very comfortable living room. "
