"Lovely spacious room which was clean and comfortable. Tasteful, themed decor with pleasant shower room providing soft and fluffy towels and toiletries. Lovely breskfast provided in the restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend for a stay in Chester due to perfect location by the river, yet close enough to the centre of the city. "

"It was clean,food was very good, breakfast was wonderful. However because there was no house keeping,we didn't have clean towels for 4 days,and the coffee/tea in the room was not replenished."

"Charming place, really enjoyed our two nights here. Lovely outdoor and indoor dining and drinking area. Friendly staff, great food and bar. Great parking, safe area, very close to beach. If you are playing golf at Royal Liverpool, this is the place to stay! Very close and convenient to the clubhouse. Hope to come back and stay again. "

We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. I explained that I had already done so with Hotels.com.Our room was situated over the bar area. The room was an adequate clean twin bedded space. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. Instead of a refund for the card payment we was told that they do not accept payments from here and we must pay,...
