"The location was good, parking was very easy in Q Park with discount. Room was pretty average for a delux room. No drawers, or suitcase stand so every time I needed something the case went on the bed which isn’t great. There was no close up make up mirror in bathroom which was annoying. No fridge which was also a surprise. I checked in online and got confirmation email saying pick keys up at reception or from machine. Machine wouldn’t dispense keys so went to reception. Female member of staff said you’ve not checked in despite me looking at an email saying I’d successfully booked in online! She was having none of it, not much customer service no apology…."

"Hotel was good , breakfast really tasty staff were amazing . Bar staff were also amazing shout out to Henry who made my wifes espresso martinis thank you sir. Reception staff so friendly and helpful Now my only moan is the room , it was very clean but i could hear ever footstep from the room above Tv in another room . Overall it was really nice hotel and i would stay again but i would probably upgrade room "

"Been here loads of times due to its location and old world decor. Think it will be the last tho.time to try other places. Was On top floor. Could hear lift and voices from next door. As usual radiator not working but plug in heater in room. It’s one redeeming feature was it had a bath "

"The room was very clean, the shower head was leaking badly but was fixed promptly. The staff were were welcoming and attentive. We caught the train to Liverpool and the hotel was only a 20 minute walk away. Air conditioning was ok"
