"The buildings and surrounding parking lot appear to be condemned and abandoned on first sight (at least one of the buildings actually is condemned and boarded up w/posted notices all over it). The staff if there is one is simply unavailable and unresponsive. The elevator in the building my room was in on the 3rd floor does not work ( I can personally confirm that it hasn't worked for at least 1 year). The room itself could have actually been nice if anyone gave minimal attention to repairs...

"Breakfast was cooked- eggs bacon sausage, oatmeal and waffles. Plenty of fresh fruit, apple, strawberries, cantaloupe, bananas. Assortment of yogurt and chocolate and white milk, Breads and muffins also available. All you can eat, I am sure I didn’t list everything like cereal but this was an excellent experience. "Honestly, I didn’t get a chance to read the reviews before coming. I figured I didn’t need a super nice hotel but something manageable enough for me to stay for the two days I’ll be in Virginia to tour a college. This was the absolute worst experience of my life. It was so bad I wasn’t even able to force myself to stay the night. "overcrowded and loud music early in the morning in parking lot. In the 2 night stay , the toilet was backed up even after the maintenance came in the first night. Our key card to get in the room worked the first night but not the second night/ We had no remote in the room for the TV as well"

"It was fine for a quick overnight stay. The room could have used some work and the fridge froze our water bottles overnight (not able to adjust temp), but the breakfast was good..not a full breakfast but make-your-own waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, bread and English muffins to toast, juice/coffee so it was fine. I also checked for bed bugs in the seams of the mattress and that was clear! so I’d recommend for a convenient overnight."

"This stay was not one of my best. The overall experience was just okay, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. One of the biggest issues was the lack of clean towels. At one point, a staff member told us to leave our used towels outside the room to be replaced, but when we returned, no fresh towels had been provided. It was frustrating and inconvenient, and it made the stay less comfortable than expected."

My main complaint was that there was an ongoing water main break from 2 days prior in the area and the hotel failed to inform me of this condition before I checked in so that I can make an informed decision of staying or finding lodging elsewhere.
