"The hotel was great! The room was kind of horrible. All the furniture except for the beds were completely crooked when I got there, which was weird but then the next morning I saw a women’s panty liner stuck to the wall above the bathroom wall. In true me fashion I felt bad because I could find anyone and nobody was at the desk so I just cleaned it up myself but I’m unsure if this is the place to stay in Elgin. Maybe it was a bad day for housekeeping but it was gross regardless."

"The rooms have some outdated technology in them and are also without a microwave. They will let you use the microwave in the breakfast area though. Breakfast is good and overall it is a nice property. There are two restaurants right across the street. "

"The pools at all 4 Home2 suites we’ve stayed at are always way too cold to enjoy. The rooms are nice and we love the mini kitchens available. The beds are getting a little worn and indented at the Schaumburg location "
