"Loved staying here mostly because it is on a lake that is a birding hotspot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are big. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake. Lots of birds. Scenic. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. They are remodeling so can’t wait to see the new look. Breakfast is OK. Nearby lots of restaurants and shopping and the National Park. "

"Had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. Notified attendant at the front desk, she gladly reset the router and all was well. I have no complaints. This was reasonably priced for a no frills motel."

"What a fantastic find! The hotel is doing some renovations but we got one of the newly remodeled rooms on the 3rd floor. So cute! Notre Dame themed decor makes you feel like you are enjoying a football game on a fall day. Rooms are spacious. Love the little wine frig. The breakfast was excellent! Serving up all the traditional hot breakfast items— eggs, bacon, taters, waffles, cereals, etc. with the special bonus of green chili chicken tamales! Yumsters!! And you can’t beat the staff. Friendly, helpful, inviting! A special shout out to Paul, our shuttle driver who went beyond the call of duty helping me manage my bags in the elevator long before he knew he’d be my shuttle driver to the airport. I hope I have another occasion where I need lodging in SBN as I would love to return. Thank you for your midwestern Hoosier hospitality. "

"Check in seemed complicated. The gal at check in wasted more time with irrevelent comments making my checkin take way too long. She was unfocused and scattered. The rest of the stay was just ok. The hotel was fine, nothing fancy or elaborate. Casino was not great, smokey and losing slots."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Munster. The hotel was very clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. I also appreciated the great location and the overall peaceful atmosphere. The amenities were a nice bonus, and everything felt fresh and well thought out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. "
