"My family stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful and the property is nice, since it was still chilly we enjoyed watching the birds on the water from inside. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was down almost our whole visit which apparently was out of the owners control. My only other complaints would be that the main floor was chilly as there is only 2 vents in the main area. The property manager was under the impression that there was electric baseboard heaters...

"We really enjoyed our holiday at Avalon! The host met us to explain the property, and a little "Father's Day" cup with chocolates was waiting for my husband. Family visited us one day for a celebration and everyone loved the cottage. My son was all for booking it next year again. A few people have shown interest when we talked about our experience. Beautiful cottage, small but just perfect for a lake holiday. All the ammenities etc. were outstanding & beds super comfy. Would definitely rent...

"The location of the cottage is great. Stayed with our family and friends. Contains 2 renovated clean bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The place has a lot of cons. The living room is really spacious, but does not have any AC. We had to open windows which do not have mosquito screens (there are a lot of mosquito). There is no dining table too. The recreation room has plenty of games (tennis, table soccer, mini basketball), but everything looks so neglected and damaged. But in general, the house...

"The overall cleanliness of the cottage was disappointing . The place needs a deep clean and has an ant problem. There was a questionable stain on the bunkbed which lead us to believe the sheets weren’t swapped before we arrived. The dock has a motor running 24/7 (assuming to keep the water clear) so don’t bet on a quiet morning coffee out on the water. The communication was frustrating at times. For example when asking about the garbage policy, they failed to mention that you need clear bags...
