Near Blue Spirit and South Guiones | Nosara, Costa Rica

Casa Escondida offers easy access to both Playa Guiones and Playa Garza. Guests can drive five minutes to the beach or take a 12–15 minute walk to the south end of Playa Guiones. Playa Garza provides calm swimming, local dining, and fishing charters, while Guiones Village offers surf, yoga, shopping, and restaurants—all within minutes.

A car is recommended for convenience, but taxis and airport shuttles are available. Multi-week discounts apply, and for stays of 30 days or longer, electricity is billed separately.



TRAFFIC NOISE



While the home is set within a private center with internal roads, some traffic noise may still be heard due to its relative proximity to the main road.

LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT

Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages; if reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Construction noise is also possible between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and not allowed on Sundays, as the area continues to grow.

Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.

These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.

SAFETY & CANCELLATION

While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.

Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
