The rooms are simple and parts of the facility are old, but that is why it is priced more affordably than other hotels. I would definitely stay there again if I stay in the same financial bracket. If I had more money, I would ideally like to have a more comfortable mattress and newer windows that close fully and no smell of mold. But all in...

"The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!"
