"Great hotel with friendly staff in a convenient location."

"This is an excellent experience. All the staff was incredibly helpful, the room was impeccable, the restaurant was delicious, and the amenities were exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the small details—sweet treats in the afternoon, watermelon water, post surf showers. Also shout out to Carlos, our surf instructor, for getting us up on boards immediately, his storytelling, and his unfettered joy."

"Great location and excellent service"

"Words can not do justice to how delightful an experience this was. Staff was so nice... property was unique and off the beaten path.. truly a memorable experience!"

"Lovely boutique hotel steps from wonderful restaurants and the beach. We were very comfortable in our room and in the common spaces by the pool. We will definitely return!"

"This place provided all that we needed for a great price. Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was good. And there was the sweetest cat that loves to say hi to the guests. If I return, I will bring my own pillow because the pillows were pretty hard but otherwise, it was a great experience."

"Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast and great pool and room rooms."

"The Silvestre is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly located in Guiones, just across from the beach and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and cute grocery stores. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The rooftop lounge, coffee bar, and pool are a great place to sit back and relax. Definitely deserving of its Michelin rating! They even give you a goodbye gift of delicious local coffee. Angel, Israel, and Paul are a joy to interact with....

"Super clean with helpful staff and great food."

"We can’t began to express how warm & welcoming this property & family were to us, for our first time in Costa Rica. We loved the space so so much, the community living room (pool area) was such a highlight, where we gathered daily with the other beautiful guests. Clean, lovely, perfect location! We will definitely be back to Aloha."

"Absolutely great place to stay."

"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. With that said, it is the cheapest option in the area (a fantastic...

"Great place. Amazing location. Surf club membership, breakfast and pool at the hotel just a minute away makes for excellent value"

"Great place to stay if planning on seeing arribada at Ostional, we had 4x4 so had no issues driving that last signing with pit holes. Great breakfast! We came after 6pm after normal check in hours but got checked in by staff no issues. Overall will definitely stay here again and recommend!"
