"On the whole, an excellent hotel. Most of the staff we dealt with were very helpful but there were a couple that just seemed like lost teenagers, not sure of what was going on. The salon bar was supposed to be open on Saturday night, and we were told as much, but we went twice to try and it was empty, no staff. Room service is advertised but the timings were not consistent, rather seemed dependent on what staff were around. The phone in our room didn’t work and wasn’t fixed during our stay. The room was very hot and the air con wouldn’t go below 20, tricky as someone 8 1/2 months pregnant, they did bring another pillow for me straight after requested though! Rooftop bar is excellent, the hotel decor was excellent. Location was excellent. It was just those couple of things and some of the staff that let it down and made it feel like we were weren’t staying in a high end a hotel to match the beautiful surroundings. Xxx"

"A very pleasant stay overall and will recommend it. The location was excellent - 2 minutes walk to the train and tram, a good variety of food options and shops very nearby. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious with adequate options and we appreciate breakfast was available from 6.30 to 11 am. It was helpful when we had to have a much earlier breakfast before our day trip and also didn't have to wake up early while on holiday on other days just to have breakfast. The negatives aren't deal-breakers. The room was a little smaller than what we saw online and would have preferred more space. The bathroom was a decent size, clean and wished that hair conditioner was provided as part of the toiletries. The room can be quite noisy as it was near the road. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. "

"The property is in a converted post office centre and is beautifully renovated, which great attention to detail in the rooms and common areas. The staff were very friendly and their was a lovely "vibe" in the hotel. Our studio apartment was very large and had all the amenities you could wish for."
