"We really enjoyed our May long weekend getaway here. It didn't matter that the weather was cold and rainy because we cozied up in front of the woodstove, or sat around the spacious table playing board games. There was enough room that we didn't feel crowded being cooped up together, and the cabin had all the amenities we could have wanted. When it dried up a bit, we enjoyed the short walk to the lake and the many outdoor spaces for relaxing around the cabin."

"We stayed in Belair from January to April 2025. The house was clean, well stocked with necessities, and equipped for longer stays. We had a constant resupply of firewood and potable water. We enjoyed two or three snowstorms and long chilly days, but the house remained warm and cozy. The internet connection was fast and reliable. Our family has one remote worker and two remote learners, so everyone was able to stream their meetings with no interruptions—even on snowy and cloudy days. When it finally did warm up, we had the opportunity to go out and enjoy the luxury hot tub several times. The night sky in Belair is beautiful, with minimal light pollution. You will need a car to get around. Selkirk is the last significant town to shop in before hitting Belair. In a pinch, Thomson Crossing and Saffie’s General Store are great places to pick up staples. Deeds is a great host and made us feel welcome immediately. He kept in touch weekly to ensure everything at the property was in working order and checked in after large snowstorms to make sure we had power and to see if it needed to be plowed out. If our travels bring us back to Canada, we will visit again."

"Beautiful place with wooden fireplace. Nice and clean rooms with spacious kitchen. Ee enjoyed every moment. Underneath couches were some dirts gathered and we had to clean before we set up everything. Bbq in perfect place and varanda was an awesome plus point. Wil come again."

"The house was nice and Bebe was very accommodating. She has lots of extras like cooking spices and condiments. Kitchen is well supplied. I would stay there again. "

"Lovely cottage. Host has great communication. Everything you need. Teens and kids had a blast. We all loved the beach area spent whole day there weather was beautiful. Nothing beats looking out over the lake "

"This is a nice and quaint cabin for families and friends. The open concept living area was good for preparing meals and hanging out; the woodburning fireplace was nice for the chilly nights. The master bedroom is nice with lots of natural light, the other 2 bedrooms a bit gloomy. The wrap around deck is fantastic as well as the yard space for playing lawn games! Check-in was easy and I was able to get in touch with the host quickly with questions. While the beach is in walking distance (about 20 minutes), it connects to a rocky part, so you would have to walk even further to get to the sand. With all of our gear, we chose to drive instead. The only cons were: the property was advertised to have wifi but did not, and the barbercue was in dire need of repair or replacement. "

"As advertised. A well-equipped, cozy cabin. Feels like visiting a friends cabin, in a good way. The hosts have provided all necessary supplies and instructions. Just arrive and enjoy. A few minutes drive to the beach access. Park on the roadside or in the small lot. Beautiful white sand beach, much less crowded than grand beach."

"If you are travelling to the Lester Beach area, this property is a "must do"! Beautiful lake view on a stunning deck, with excellent access to beach, to mention a couple highlights. The inside is modern, very well appointed, has everything you could possibly need, and then some. Kitchen, bathroom and living area are wonderful. Bedrooms are spotless and bed are cozy and comfy. Host was very gracious, quick to respond, we will be back,for sure!! Thank you!"
