"I visited for a short weekend stay with my family for a concert. Congress Plaza was accommodating and easy to check in! It’s a vintage hotel that is very well kept in a perfect location directly across from grant park! If you can appreciate a classic hotel you will love this place! We stayed in the two bedroom family suite and it was pretty big with three huge closets and refrigerators in both rooms. Transportation is easily accessible at the front door for pick up and drop off. There are plenty dining options in walking distance. I recommend The Grant down the street for dinner :) Security is at each entry at night so rest assured I felt safe. Great stay! Will visit again"

"This was my first time staying here, and overall, I had a great experience. The location is absolutely perfect — close to everything I needed and very convenient. One of the standout highlights was the bar. The bartender services were top-notch — friendly, attentive, and really added to the positive vibe of the place. During my stay, I did have an unfortunate situation where I left my bag in a taxi. I reached out to the security team for help, and while they initially tried to assist by reviewing footage to identify the taxi number, the process felt disorganized. The security officer assisting us — a red-haired girl — seemed distracted and more focused on personal conversations, possibly with her boyfriend, and left multiple times during our interaction without providing clear information. Fortunately, the front desk staff stepped in and were extremely helpful. Thanks to their support, we were eventually able to retrieve the bag, which I deeply appreciated. In summary, I truly enjoyed my stay, especially the location and bartender service. I would recommend better training or oversight for the security team to ensure guest concerns are handled more professionally. I’d definitely consider staying here again! "

"The hotel is beautiful and full of history . We thouroughly enjoyed leaning all about it. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Its a really busy place with many events going on but everyone was kind, patient, and seemed to enjoy doing what they do. We dud havd a smaller room than i was hoping for and the bathroom was very small and could have used some updating, but all in all we really enjoyed it and would definately stay again!"
