"The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. The downside of our week long stay was that the beach outside the house was being dredged and there were lights, heavy equipment and noise 24/7. That ruined the atmosphere for sure, but was not Heather's fault and shouldn't affect other renters. House was clean and we loved the layout and all the blankets for snuggling on the big couch in the main downstairs room. "

"Mr. Jimmy was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. Fast responses. The condo was super clean and stocked with the necessities. It was comfortable and had a home feeling. Not a weird vibe, ha. I’d definitely stay here again!! Pool is seasonal. It wasn’t open during our stay but that just made us love the ocean even more :). 10/10."

"Tom was an amazing host. He really went above and beyond. We wanted to do a low country boil one night and there wasn’t a big enough pot. He had one delivered right away. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything was as described. Our family had a blast. Thank you for letting us stay with you! "

"The owner was quick to provide check-in info and details and the check-in process was fast and courteous. The house is at an excellent location - beach view and easy beach access and a close walk to the pier! It's an older place and could use a bit of updating, including the hard to open sliding door and the deadbolt lock changed or sprayed with a bit of WD40. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. I liked that the kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessary cooking utensils. The Keurig pot is nice with both pot and cup options. We only used the master bed and found it comfortable. Water pressure is exceptional in the hall bath shower. I didn't give cleanliness 5 stars because the master toilet had not been flushed on our arrival, leading me to question the credibility of the cleaning service. Also, a nice feature would be toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent provided which I'm used to having with other VRBO rentals. We hope to visit again. Oak Island is beautiful with many parks with piers for relaxing or fishing. Southport is worth the short drive for the waterfront park and restaurants."
