"Nice walk to the Promenade shops and restaurants. Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only small complaint was the noisiness of the A/C compressor but otherwise the room was comfortable and the view was great!"

"It was an amazing experience. It started with the smooth check-in, Jocelyn was kind and helpful. She had a smile and was accommodating to our needs. The valet staff were quick in getting our car. The restaurant food was good too, we ate brunch and it was delicious. The rooms are cleaned well. It was close to UCLA. We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for my son's graduation. They have a tennis court and a pool. They also provided coffee in the morning and infused water during the rest of the day I would recommend this hotel. The service is excellent. Thank you. "

"The stay was great, hotel staff was very nice. Pool had great hours, showers were a bit dirty and the water pressure wasn’t that great. Would be nice to have at least one or more toilet paper rolls in the room without having to go to the front desk all the time. But overall was a great quiet stay, other tenants were very respectful of each other. Would book again when I visit California!"

"The property was clean, easy to access to the 101 and had a very friendly staff. The only downside was the air conditioning in the room was an old unit so it didn't keep it cold and it was already 90 degrees outside. Aside from that, my husband and I would definitely come back and stay."

"The hotel was recently renovated. The staff was warm and friendly, definitely aimed to please. Dinner was quite delicious, and breakfast couldn’t have been better. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted as good as it looked. The hotel offers a very nice fitness center, with a new spa opening in the next few weeks. The location was convenient to iconic spots in the area, such as the Santa Monica pier, great restaurants, and good shopping. The beach is close with a trail from the hotel grounds. The next time I’m in Santa Monica, I will definitely stay at the Sandbourne."
