"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."

"Paid for 5 nights, stayed for 1. Host ignored multiple messages, phone number wouldn’t connect. Pillows and pullout mattress beyond unsanitary. Overpowering odour throughout property. Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. "This is a little gem of a hotel, while the rooms are on the smaller size they are well equipped and have everything you need (apart from a fridge). Staff are friendly and keen to help, bar area is brilliant with the table top interactive game, shuffle board, interactive darts and ps5’s. Had the duck pizza which was a winner. Didn’t use the spa due to the cost but hopefully will on our next visit. Breakfast was nice and fresh, good coffee and a lovely view of the lake. All in all this is a nice hotel. Highly recommended. "
