"We loved our 4 days in Hurford. The place was small but comfortable and set in the most amazing beautiful garden! It was a good base to explore the area, great hiking in the Kataki range, lovely beach at Oakura. Only 20 mins from the Bowl of Brooklands where went to a concert. Highly recommend "

"We had the most wonderful, much-needed break here, so peaceful and relaxing. The property had everything we needed and more, and it was perfectly located just up the road from the beach and not too far from New Plymouth township.It was an ideal spot for our grumpy fur baby who had a sore leg, safe, secure, and perfect for her to rest comfortably. Mike was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back again."

"Stunning location. Beautiful gardens and ‘secret’ pathways. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and powerful shower! Beautiful lounge and dining area and well set up with pool table. Would be great for a group but also relaxing for a couple. Wonderful stay."

"Great views. Bach in fairly good condition. Some small maintenance jobs could be carried out. Would like the heat pump/ AC to be working in Winter/Summer too. Extra outdoor chair would be good. Some pots had to be washed before we could use them. Comfortable stay mostly although the single beds weren't great. Would stay again. "

Great views, while maintaining privacy. Highly recommended. We took our own grocery supplies and soap etc in with us as we knew how far it is from the nearest shops. "
