"We stayed here for our annual Ocean Shores girlsā trip, our 2nd year at this hotel, and the improvements under new ownership were noticeable. The lobby and breakfast area looked much nicer, and the hotel felt significantly cleaner overall, w/ the musty smell from last year gone. Parking was easy, with convenient access in the back and hallway entry to our room from either side. We stayed in a second-floor oceanfront suite with a private balcony. It included 2 queen beds, a couch, refrigerator, microwave, small table with two chairs, and possibly a coffee maker (unused). Our group of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, had plenty of space without feeling crowded. The pool and hot tub were warm and a good size. While the pool area is dated, it appeared well maintained, and we often saw staff checking chemicals. Seating is limited, however, with only 2 lounge chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs. The updated pool towel system, now picked up at the front desk, was an improvement, ensuring towels were always available.
Our only consistent issue was limited housekeeping supplies, as we had to request additional toilet paper and towels twice during our 3-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was still a nice perk but more limited than last year and now ends at 9:30 a.m. Options included eggs, sausage, waffles, two cereals, coffee, and two juices (no orange juice), but fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon, and potatoes were missing.
Overall, we had another great stay and would return."
