It's set in a beautiful area and there are lots of lovely touches around the grounds, such as giant chess, woodland walks and a Forget me not garden. "Fabulous location within easy walking distance of the key shops, restaurants, and cathedral, parks etc. Amazing property which is well equipped too. Only downside for us was some minor dirty bits that had been missed off on the cleaning schedule, and the welcome pack needs updating e.g. WiFi was different, and this didn;t include instructions/code for the bin stores (that was on the back of the front door). "Lovely - if quirky - property and grounds, much loved and well cared for. All the necessary equipment is provided, plus some additional (and tasty!) welcome items. Nicole and Steve, who look after the place, are delightful folk.Pubs, chip shops, Chinese takeaways are all within a short drive. The cottage is well placed for exploring both the New Forest and Dorset, but we'd also recommend the nearby Moors Valley Country Park. "We were on a special trip with my young family and this could not have been a more perfect place for us. We loved the cottage and it’s proximity to both the forest and the beautiful beaches nearby. It felt like the perfect spot. The board games were great and added to our time together and the little touches like the card and the chocolates made it feel so special. All of us will remember our time at Evergreen and none of us wanted to go home."

"A cute property. A lot smaller than we imagined it would be but okay for two people for a couple of nights. A couple of things could’ve been improved - the freezer section in the fridge was completely iced up which made it tricky to put our frozen supplies in and the bottom tray on fridge door was missing so milk had to lay on top of food. The inside edges of the shower cubicle were a bit mucky! The back door was difficult to shut and the tv remote didn’t work. All minor inconveniences though...
