"We really enjoy coming here — this is our second time this year. I will say the place could use a good deep clean (carpets cleaned & shower curtains replaced etc.) and some basic wear-and-tear fixes. The garage didn’t seem to have been cleaned in a while; I ended up wiping down all the surfaces, including the ping pong table, because it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. I didn’t mind doing it, but I know other guests probably wouldn’t appreciate that.We made Thanksgiving dinner during our stay, and the main issue we had was with the ovens. Two out of the three really need to be replaced. Other than that, we LOVE coming here. My family had a great time with all the games and especially the ping pong!"

"The barn house was large and accommodating to our extended family who met here from several states to enjoy Thanksgiving weekend together. We were impressed with large sized cookware and serving pieces to put our many bug meals together. We had ten guests stay but had plenty of silverware and dishes to use while others were washing in the dishwasher. The tankless water heater made many showers and dishwashing no problem at all. We utilized the screen porch for our beverages and accessed them by reaching thru a passthru window and joked we were at Dairy Queen. Lots of fun. The hike to see the train tunnel carved thru stone was my personal highlight of the trip. Really beautiful. I enjoyed the cozy cotton quilts on all the beds which played into the cabin feel. The owner stopped by and brought us firewood within hours of our arrival making us feel well taken care of"

"Karl and Eileen thought of everything! From providing plenty of fluffy towels, several cozy throw blankets, the best stocked coffee/tea bar I've ever experienced in a rental, a washer and dryer for our Bobcat to do her laundry for free (she was thrilled!), fun ice cube trays along with stocked ice containers, a filtered water pitcher, extra wood for the adorable firepit area, indoor and outdoor games, so many great books -- I could go on and on!"

"The cabin was a great stay for Dad's weekend. We had everything we needed and more! The host was very nice and even made us cookies! The hammocks were great, the boys fell asleep for about an hour in them. I didn't get to write in the guest book, but I would definitely stay here again. "
