"This is definitely a higher end hotel, but it is still "affordable". The location is excellent and quiet. It is not in the middle of shopping and dining, but many shrines and temples are within walking distance. A subway station is only 2 minutes from the hotel, so you can go anywhere. "This is a traditional ryokan, and my second stay. First time was back in 2016 by myself. This time came here to stay with my wife. Bery friendly staff. I had a much better experience first time around, two ladies came and showed me how to change into a yukata and prepared my bed. Everything was more personal, this time they were a little busy. Too many guests. Still amazing experience. You can reserve the onsen for yourself privately. The dinner experience is a little expensive but worth it. "
