"I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. It’s 300 years old; very clean, in the heart of everything, just feet from the restaurants / shops / water. The manager is on site. Being historic, if you stay in the top floors you must walk the stairs. I stayed in a top floor room (3rd story) with a nice ocean view; (yes it took a minute to get hot water but what’s the rush, the water was hot and you’re in a 300 yo hotel). It’s decorated with a lot of historical items and there is a very relaxed covered bar!). This is a perfect hotel for couples who want to relax, come and go as you please. I will staying here the next time I come to St Croix! "

"Unfortunately, we were not able to stay, and had to cancel. Huge ice storm closed our airport. But the owner was very generous and understanding. We were able to get a refund. We will definitely be going, and staying here soon!! "
