"The receptionist was never on time. At check in we waited for 10 minutes and when we called she said we would have to wait 5 more minutes, that she was on her way. At check out, we waited for her for 20 minutes and had to leave without checking out."

"Host was great, but hotel is hard to find due to the fact that it is actually called Pensìon San Thelma not San Juan. San Juan is the street. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and the noise was really bad due to the bar next door. Luckily I had earplugs. On the plus side the location in old town is hard to beat. Bu it is noisy everywhere there late into the night. If you need quiet stay in the newer part of town. "

"Great location, but this was not a great “hotel”. This is an enclosed hostel. The beds were stiff and old. The place lacked soap or shampoo. The towels they give you are cheap and never dry after one use. Mold in the showers. I cannot believe I paid $312 dollars for this place. Really uncomfortable stay. "
