"This boutique hotel is a gem . It's quietly located on the hill above Split only a 20 minute walk to the old town . We walked down into Split every night and cabbed back which was only 10 euros to return to hotel and well worth it . Breakfast is great and the staff is so accommodating and friendly especially Tena at the front desk who happily answered all our questions . "Location was perfect in the old town, convenient to everywhere but very quiet. Staff was helpful and kind. Love the cat who lounges on the hotel’s front steps. Restaurant on the lowest level was tasty. I had a room with a balcony and sitting there in the evenings was the best part of my trip. Will definitely come back. "

"This was a very unique property with lots of history. We heard stories of noise issues from restaurants below, but we didn’t experience any issues. Everyone slept well. Location cannot be beat. So close to everything. Some rooms had showers and some had bathtubs with hand showers so if this is an an issue, be sure to ask. "

"This property was a little hard to find but that seems typical for the area. The property is in Old Town and near many historical buildings. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms were modern, clean and roomy. I would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity. "
