"Lovely hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still in the heart of the city Centre. We loved the professional but friendly staff, the cleanliness and amenities. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Unfortunately we had two issues at this hotel. Firstly we had room 11 which had a strong smell similar to cat wee. We were then given room 18, which seemed fine until we opened the door to the en-suite and the same smell was strong in there. This smell was only in the rooms not any public areas. Secondly there was music blasting loudly from venue adjacent to the hotel along with noise from people using that venues outside area. This continued until the music stopped at 2am, and the venue cleared of customers around 2.40am, so no sleep. We would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms were small, clean, with tea/coffee facilities. Rest of hotel was nice and clean. Hotel is situated in a busy and bustling area of the city centre. Close to lots of places to visit within walking distance. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. We would not stay at this hotel again. "

"Good location. Clean, spacious room. Very quiet, and great black out blinds!"

"Room clean , decent towels..,good choice of coffee & teas but no suggestion where to get a top up. Good choice of breakfast - unsweetened cereals would be good choice. (No branflakes ) Best ever toaster!! Bread through quickly and totally toasted! No marmite… Tables cleaned quickly, staff pleasant. Noisy outside on a night if window open but bang in the middle of a happening town. "

"Breakfast was lovely. Uncomfortable mattress with springs broken and hair dryer didn't work. Also had to phone reception twice to even get access to the room as room cards didn't work. Would expect better for the cost of over £300 for 1 night. "

"Staff were very helpful and allowed early check in (1:30pm). The hotel itself is ion a gorgeous building. The rooms are spacious, and my bathroom was a good size. The only issue I had was that at night the bathroom was VERY cold, and the room itself also chilly. I tried to warm it up via the air con/ heater, but it wasn't powerful enough. This did affect the quality of my sleep. "

"Budget hotel and more like a student flat. Check in staff not very interested in helping. Bar poorly staffed and menu pretty rubbish. Room clean but sparse. A lot of noise throughout the night made for a poor night's sleep. Breakfast average, poor quality sausages, freezong cold plates. Budget at best "
