"Lovely decorated motel. Room was well kept. Very close to Lake Michigan and Torch Lake. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Keep in mind there is no breakfast offered; there is coffee and snacks, although there is a cafe right across the street. "

"Sporting options are excellent from pools to gyms, tennis courts, golf facilities and more. Dining options were also fine. We dined at the Aerie restaurant which offered decent value and fantastic views over the Bay. We also enjoyed the Sunday Buffet plus an evening refreshment at the Aerie bar with views over the golf courses. "

"We had the most wonderful experience at the Leland Lodge—truly a gem tucked into one of Michigan’s most charming towns. Brian, the lodge manager, was amazing—so gracious and thoughtful. We had communicated by text before our stay, and when we arrived, he had generously upgraded our family to one of the cabins. It felt like stepping back in time to the classic family lodges of the 1950s, but with all the modern comforts. The cabin was spotless and well-appointed, with a great layout and both a front and back porch. Our kids loved having the lodge bikes to ride into Fishtown for shopping, fresh whitefish at The Cove, and dips in the crystal-clear (and refreshingly cold!) Lake Michigan. Watching the sun set over the Manitou Islands was pure magic. We made such special memories and are already dreaming of our return. Thank you, Brian and the Leland Lodge team, for an unforgettable stay!"

"Neat little 12 room motel outside of Elk Rapids. Had a lovely shaded green area with firepits, grill, and seating. We enjoyed our stay."

"The rooms seem recently updated and are clean, good-sized with a beverage fridge and nice bathroom. My only complaints are minor - very small countertop space in bathroom, lights from the fridge were quite bright at night (solved with a piece of painters tape), and the bed sheets are very rough."
