While staff were great, I didn’t appreciate having to ask for a hairdryer, not realizing they don’t stock one in the room until I had already showered. The room phone did not work so I needed to go down to the front desk to ask for one. The refrigerator also was not cold. I was impressed by the breakfast offerings.

Room was clean but for a handicapped accessible room it wasn't set up correctly to get a walker close to the bed, not enough space, for sure a wheelchair wouldn't fit. A coffee pot would be nice so someone with disabilities could make coffee without having to go to the breakfast area to get it themselves. Breakfast had decent options but by 8:30, biscuits were empty for the sausage gravy, hardly any scrambled eggs, butter container was empty, it wasn't kept cleaned after people went through the line. Coffee machine splattered everywhere.

The Microtel was great for an inexpensive place to sleep. They are in the process of renovating so some of the hallways, stairways, etc had construction dust, which was understandable, but my room was redone and lovely with all fresh carpet and renovated. The bed was comfy and I slept well. The walls are a little thin so I heard my neighbors but they eventually quieted down and I played my sound machine and was able to fall asleep. The staff was helpful and I would recommend this hotel if you need a reasonably priced place to sleep.

Exactly what I needed for a cheap quick overnight stay. Staff was available for a check in after midnight. Breakfast foods were laid out in the lobby to be accessible throughout the morning, there were a variety of continental items, nothing was expired. There was some construction going on, but nothing that was in the way, loud, or detrimental to my stay in any way.
