"Comfortable stay in a very good-sized room. We stayed in the Cockerel room (they are all individual and animal-themed), which also has a sofa bed and views out to the hills. Outside the rooms, there's an upstairs lounge and balcony, with books to peruse, in a nice touch. Very much enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, cooked to order with a wide variety of items from full fry-up to smoked salmon and kippers. Liked the beer range, which included Purple Moose. More books to borrow in the bar! Anyone looking for the pub needs to know it's a little out of Marton village and keep going past the national speed limit signs. One potential improvement could have been a shelf or unit for putting toiletries when using the bathroom sink. Otherwise v happy and top marks. It's in a great location for exploring Shropshire and the Welsh borders. "

"An old building in the centre of Ludlow with the town easily accessible on foot and, for car drivers, a car park available on a first come, first served basis although getting in and getting out requires skilful driving through the narrow opening that was far more comfortable for horses and carriage! The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the dining room simply charming. The food was excellent crafted by a skilled chef and team and ably served by friendly and efficient staff. The memory of the stay will remain as a positive prompt to revisit in the near future."

"Stayed as a family, three rooms for two nights. Welcome phone call and email was great as well as when we arrived. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern with great views across the local countryside. Car charging was perfect after such a long journey. Breakfast was great, good choice, good portions and friendly and attentive service. Would easily recommend the manor."
