The suite occupies one side of a double brick period home on a quiet, tree-lined street — close enough to the CBD to walk to dinner, settled enough to properly rest. Each bedroom comes with its own private ensuite, which makes the suite well suited to couples sharing, colleagues travelling together, or anyone who values their own bathroom. The clawfoot bath and underfloor heating in Bedroom 1's ensuite make it a room worth taking your time in. Edwina Suite I is available next door for groups wanting additional rooms on the same property.



    THE LOCATION:

    Edwina Suite II sits on the fringe of the Orange CBD, within walking distance of Summer Street and the city's restaurant and shopping precinct. Start the morning at Byng St Cafe, and spend the afternoon at Duntryleague Golf Course — two minutes from the city centre. Swinging Bridge Wines offers a tasting selection with in-house canapes, and Heifer Station Wines runs private vineyard picnics for a more intimate afternoon. Mortimer's Wines is nine minutes away for a scenic introduction to the region's cool-climate wine trail. Pinot & Picasso runs painting and wine classes for something a little different. For outdoor days, Mount Canobolas has hiking trails with far-reaching views, Borenore Caves are worth the short drive, and Lake Canobolas is an easy afternoon out. The Hive provides co-working and meeting space in the CBD for work travel.

Orange in Autumn

Appliances were all easy to use. Instruction booklets available. Good quality manchester. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a real bonus. The a/c in the living area was effective but it was a bit noisy. The house is 950m from the tourist office which made foran easy walk to town.
