"Super friendly staff from reception to the restaurant to everyone else working on the Lodge grounds. Really glad we picked the Maycock Suite, which had a more private balcony, hammock and impressive views. Really good food in the restaurant, chef came out to speak to us each time we are them. Same breakfast menu every day to select two items from, then a different fresh juice range every day. Free (donation-based) group yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the ocean were pretty special. We hired the Lodge e-bikes to explore a bit more of the area – Andromeda Botanical Gardens, Bathsheba beach and further along the coast. A brilliant place to leave work (and social media) behind and properly switch off!"

"Location pretty much requires a car, but has a gated parking area. It IS walkable to downtown, just more convenient with a car. There were 3 of us and each had a bedroom. Although we only stayed 3 days we didn’t use the kitchen facilities but we could have made our own meals there. Good air conditioning in each bedroom and living area. Host Alvon was very accommodating and made sure our needs were met. Will likely stay there again when in Barbados. "

"Atlantis is beautiful, the staff are great, and the east coast is a wonderful peaceful place. We've stayed before and always enjoy our stay. You'll need a car - there isn't much in terms of supermarket or dining etc nearby, altho "De Garage" is just around the corner and they make some great food and have basic items like snacks etc. All in all, a great experience as always :)"

"Let us be clear on what this place is. This residence is a series of rooms which are the extensions to someone's house. The accommodations are simple in that you have bedroom, bathroom, tv, internet and maybe a kitchen. If you are ok with this setup, then this is a fantastic place to stay. The host Gregory is very friendly and ready to accommodate. Wifi wasn't a problem for me. I walked to the Sky Mall to get groceries which is about 20 minutes away though part is a long the highway. There is some noise from the highway, but it is manageable. There are no parties or night clubs in the area to disturb your sleep. Being along the highway, I was able to take the bus to Warrens where I had business. I also took the bus in the other direction to Oistins for the fish fry. Transportation is as good as one could expect for Barbados. This residence is as reasonable priced as anywhere in Barbados. I will definitely stay there again if I have to take another business trip in the area."

"This is a perfect surfers location. Beautiful surf directly across the street, the pictures are accurate, the neighbors are friendly and sitting on the porch watching the surf was heaven. It is not "fancy" - if you have a high maintenance American with you this will not be your rental, but if you want a perfect surf spot to enjoy the views and relax book it. The owner was accessible by What's app as was the car rental co. Be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Bathsheba (only a little market nearby very pricey) and walk to the local spots for meals (some are open on weekends only). We needed a car. On the island you will need GPS (google maps worked) - roads are not well marked. The owner of the VRBO set us up on a fabulous fishing trip - caught Wahoo, Mahi and Barracuda. Definitely recommend if you have the right group. We will be coming back. "

"From the fantastic property owners all the way to the quiet neighbourhood, you'll love everything about this rental. We spent 12 nights here and had no issues. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee on the lanai watching the hummingbirds in the garden. This property is comfortable and has everything you need. It has air conditioning in the bedrooms but we found we didn't need it because there was always a nice breeze. An added bonus are the screened windows - less mosquito hassle if you're concerned about that sort of thing.Although it's in a quiet country neighbourhood, you're still conveniently close to the highway and any shopping that you may need. Driving and parking is a breeze.This property is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy your time in Barbados. We would recommend this rental without hesitation to any of our family and friends!"
