"The view from our room was wonderful. The restaurant on the 17th fl was over-priced, but there were no other options within reasonable distance. I had pre-paid for breakfast, but still got charged when it was brought to the room. Not a good experience."

"The restaurant/bar area is nice and the breakfast is well equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. My overall feedback on the double room is that it’s smaller than expected and didn’t seem as clean as it could be. My biggest issue was the overall location itself. If you can sleep through trams passing by every 15 minutes you’ll be fine. But I slept like garbage. Street noise is loud, especially on Saturday night after the clubs let out and you have drunks on the street shouting until 5 in the morning. For the price of the room I expected better and am rather surprised this is considered a 4-star hotel."

"The staff members were all very polite and extremely helpful (arranging taxis, lending out a phone charger, extra towels, barista service). The hotel was within walking distance of many museums, countless restaurants and shops. All in all, a very good location. The rooms were small, but quiet, comfortable and clean. "

"Room was just ok, bed mattresses not very comfy and in our room was noisy because of windows that was next to street( literally you could hear what people speak on street). What I liked was the breakfast, the same menu everyday but was good."

"The neighborhood is stellar. Right by tram. Bakery a block away. Pharmacy. Small grocery. Restaurants and boutique shops. Bikes available for rent. Issues: Check with Uber on address as hotel is also referred to as another name online. The pictures on Expedia showed a sauna picture.... they did not have a sauna. I blame Expedia but hotels should also periodically check the big booking sites for accuracy. No microwave available to warm up coffee or make popcorn. Did have irons and kettles at front desk. Soundproofing could be better to the outside but ... it was actual construction so extra loud. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Transportation and walkability and cleanliness are my big things. Used to be a travel agent and this one I would recommend. It's not central to things but more neighborhood vibe. to and from the action was just a 5-10 minute tram."

"The staff at RHO were great! They answered any questions I had and they were very nice folks. For the most part the room I had was clean. There were some marks on the walls that could have been cleaned up, but thats just me nit picking. The sheets and comforters were cleaned very well along with all of the towels. The breakfast they serve there is decent. I only ate it once and after that I decided to go out in town to find breakfast. (Not that the food was bad, I just didnt want to eat bacon, sausage, eggs and toast every morning. They had other items like fresh fruit, juices, cereals, milk and baked good, but those things aren't what I would normally eat for breakfast). The rooms heating/air conditioning worked very well. Plus there was a window that could be opened. There is no smoking allowed in the rooms, which was fine with me because, 1 I dont smoke cigarettes or any tobacco and 2 I only smoke weed and it was no big deal to just go outside and smoke it. Not only that but if they find out that you have been smoking in your room, they tac on an extra fee. That is completely understandable and fair. Not everyone that goes to Amsterdam is there to smoke weed or smokes tobacco. "

"The location of the hotel was near transportation, restaurants and a grocery store. We walked to markets, Van Gough museum, and Heineken Experience. We even walked to the Centraal Station. The staff was very helpful."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff exceptional. The only issue I had was the Hotel no longer did breakfast, I was not notified beforehand even though I had purchased a bed and breakfast package. I was given a list of nearby places I could use. The staff were brilliant, very friendly, could not have asked for better."
