"Our stay at the Baymont was a disaster! Initially we were placed in a room that was adjacent to a service room that had ongoing noisy equipment, and needless to say, we weren’t going to get any sleep being in that room. We requested being moved to another room so that we could get some sleep after a long day driving on the road. By the next morning we had discovered room conditions that were shockingly disgusting. Summed up, areas around the room were covered in dust and filth that resembled a crypt that had been ignored for a very long period of time. There were portions of the walls that were in definite need of repair, along with a long crack along the wall and ceiling that seemed to be covered with mold. Couldn’t wait to report our findings, along with several pictures which I both showed and emailed to the desk clerk that exhibited our concerns, as we were getting ready to check out. We stated to the desk clerk that we should not be charged for a room that had such despicable conditions. Strangely, the clerk did not even seem surprised at our report regarding the condition of our room, but basically indicated that there was nothing he could do regarding cancelling charges for the room. I immediately requested to see the manager, but was informed that he wasn’t in yet and that I could come back in ten minutes to see him. "The front desk person took a minute to acknowledge me as they had an earbud in. The checkin took some time. He asked for cash as a deposit which made me uncomfortable. We ended up doing a credit card which is normal. The attendant did not tell me when checkout was, when breakfast started. I had to ask him about parking. The rooms were damp and there was hair in the bathtub. We did not receive WiFi information and were not able to connect to it. I will not stay here again."

"Good breakfast. Bed firm but comfy. Strong shower and nice toiletries, although shampoo and conditioner smelled odd. Main issue was room readiness and amenities - we were told our room was not ready on arrival and would have to be cleaned, but then it was magically ready in five minutes. Room looked clean but there was no blackout curtain, with a room facing the parking lot. So we had to go out and buy sleep masks to get a good night’s sleep. Other than issue with check in, staff was nice. Wouldn’t stay at hotel again though due to issues"

"This hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast offerings were among the best I have experienced in decades of travel. Bathroom amenities were great except for the very low toilets. The sheets were luxurious but the beds were awful. Three of us had increasingly bad backs following a night on their squishy mattresses."

"Parking easy and always felt safe. Staff was friendly & helpful. As a Hilton member I got a text once in room asking if everything was alright and that I should contact her for anything I needed. Very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was your typical hotel fare but staff there kept the area clean and well stocked. 5 stars "
