Cottages in Oshima

Modern house with excellent amenities! The kitchen, the windows, the toilet, the jacuzzi, the hot spring bath... Everything is great!! It's a little far from the major attractions and restaurants, yet very close to the city tram station which is actually convenient. My family and I love our stay and will definitely stay at La Cachette again next time we visit Hakodate.

Excellent service, great location, and a beautiful garden. The onsen was awesome

This is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in our rather extensive international travels in the past two decades — quiet, stylish, elegant and aesthetic, more like an art museum with books, paintings, sculptures, historical train models. It locates inside a national park and directly connected to a very private lake. Most impressive is its staff who are so kind, patient, profesional, putting extra efforts into making our stay enjoyable. Many guests stayed there were Japanese and...

The condo is more spacious than I expected. Room is well-equipped and comfortable. Location is perfect for tourists. It is located only 3 minutes walking distance away from JR Hakodate station, and also about 4 minutes walking distance away from famous Hakodate morning market. It is also close to Hakodate railway bus station. I will definitely recommend this condo to everyone.

Very smooth check-in. The place was really beautiful. The location was good, too. Quick walk to the red brick area. 20 minute walk to the ropeway. We were there in June, and didn't need to use the fire place, but the smell of woodsmoke was there. During winter, you expect the smell of wood burning, for sure, but I was not expecting that in June. However it didn't bother us since it was kind of like staying at a camping site. Just wondered if this might not be great for some people sensitive to...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Attached to JR Hakodate station. Surrounded by great places to eat. Lucky Pierrot is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel along the ocean. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The room is smartly designed. The bedding is comfortable. The view of the harbor is an added bonus. The breakfast has incredible selection of food from Japanese to western.

This was the perfect stay for our one night in Hakodate, but wish we could have staying longer to explore the city and enjoy this wonderful hotel! The amenities are top notch, from the private and public onsen, to the complimentary drinks and snacks, to the beautiful and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is such an array of Japanese food and loved the late night ramen. Such a nice way to unwind after a day of train travel. Really enjoyed the views from the property and truly felt relaxed here.

The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful!

booked a smoking, twin bed room since it was the only one available, we were hoping to change once we got there. arrived a couple of hours early hoping to check in early but our room was not ready and we were not able to get a non-smoking room. the front desk person assured us that it will not smell like smoke and it did not. we were surprise to see how big the room was, had a lanai where we could see the red brick warehouse, the ports and Hakodate mountain. very close to the morning market...

The dinner buffet was amazing! It was simply the best hotel buffet I had ever had. Also, the spa allowed me to fully relax from my journey. All these amazing experiences were well guided by the friendly staff who always tried their best to enhance the hospitality.

I love staying here. The staff was great, breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and spacious. There was even a snack area serving yummy ice cream, coffee, and sparkling wine! It's a homey family-friendly place but hot spring area has decent space. Overall I enjoyed my stay here. Bathroom inside the room was small. Plenty of eateries around the hotel but it's a good distance from main train station so we had to taxi around every time we went out.
