Location is by the Kamo river delta. Lots of fine restaurants around which the concierge booked for us on short notice. Michelin one and two star dinners. Well done. Suite was amazingly quiet, top floor with superb views. Staff was consistently there for us and granted every wish. Full kitchen, microwave and washer dryer. Hopsitality staff took care of everything. Thank you very much.

This was such a pleasant hotel to stay at with big groups. Especially Room A with the 2 separate rooms and 2 toilets. It Isuke a house where we can cook, do laundry, leave and arrive whenever we wanted to. The location is about a 10 minute walk to Nishiki Market, and Gion. Lots of shops with good food. We had a lovely stay at the Screen Hotel. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, so access to places of interest was easy. But the service was the best part - just exceptional, even by Japanese standards. Highly recommended.

It was very comfortable staying. Room was super clean and everything was well organized!! They prepared stepper for kid so that kids can easily wash their hand ! It was very sweet ! Will definitely come back to this hotel again. Breakfast was yummy also :)

I highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect as a tourist staying close to the main sights in the Gion area of Kyoto. I was able to see Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka with very few people around without getting up too early. The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable, despite the smaller size. This place is amazing! I stayed here with 4 other people and it was perfect. There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group. Check in was a little confusing. I was told the keys were left in the mailbox ahead of time but the sign on the door asked us to contact the property before we entered. When I contacted them all they said was the keys are in the mailbox. I assume it was a google...

Amazing! The property offered a shuttle ride from the station. We were greeted with a cup of tea. We were also taken to our room and with assistance and given a thorough tour of the space and the services that the hotel provided. The property has a beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious for our group. Highly recommend the meals offered for dinner and breakfast. The onsen was also clean and spacious.

I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, and I must say I was happily blown away by this Hyatt in Kyoto. Although it has the corporate name, it feels like it's own independent boutique hotel, definitely the most unique Hyatt. The staff are wonderful - friendly, eager to help book reservations, helpful and warm. The location is walking distance to nearby shrines and about 15 minutes from the maze streets of Gion. Was a great hotel. Room was a bit small and the worst part was the bed was too low to the floor so you couldn't store a suitcase closed underneath, I had to open mine and slide it under. Overall staff was nice and they helped ship our luggage to Osaka. Also directly across from the train was superior! So helpful and would stay here again.

This was one of my best experiences traveling to Kyoto. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. All the amenities were conveniently located, and we easily found everything we needed. We were traveling with our 1-year-old child, and having an entire house to ourselves—including space to store a stroller, a tatami room, and a proper bathroom—made our trip especially comfortable and enjoyable.

Quiet clean property that gives you some traditional Japanese experience. The bed mats though authentic, were a bit uncomfortable but overall excellent spot.
