There were explanations of the history of the building without it being in your face and looking like a museum. The buildings provided lots of pleasant areas to relax in. The staff were excellent and friendly."

Reception waas the hard part in this hotel. we had requested an uppoer floor room as we wanted piece and quiet but weer allocated a ground floor room as we had a dog. However the gorund floor room turned out to be fine. A clean spacious room with AC and working TV. Breakfast was generous and good quality but the hot plates were not very hot! Location is good for an overnight, there is nearby ASDA extra, and excellent Millar and Carter. but Kettering is not much to write home about"
