"We got into our accommodation with ease. However, the pictures and the description did not match the actual accommodation. There were bugs in the bathroom. The place was filthy. Dirty washcloth in the shower. A big puddle in the kitchen, the fridge was leaking. Mold in the bedroom windows and in the shower. We had no where else to stay so we had to sleep there. But it was extremely uncomfortable. "

"The 'Little Refuge' was just what we were hoping for. The house appeared like new inside and out, super clean, very nicely decorated and located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Just minutes to Gatineau Park and Ottawa. Parking is on the property. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one could need for cooking and meal preparations. Beds were comfortable and everything worked well including the quiet and effective A/C. Communication with the very friendly owner was prompt and even...

"My partner and I had a lovely time on our vacation and Françoise and Rejean were amazing hosts and quick to answer our questions or help out if we needed anything. Only slight downside was that the lake is quite weed-y at the end of the season but we made it work by paddling out to swim and there’s a nice municipal beach for longer hot days! All in all, would book again, perfect place to disconnect and relax. "
