"Great location, great views cabin was nice and clean. We were there in February. You definitely need a car to get to the village. It’s a 3 minutes drive and about 25 minutes walk. "

"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over this past weekend. Joy's Chalet provided everything we hoped to get from our time away. It's an hour or so from downtown Ottawa, We got to bring our doggo which was wonderful! Communication with the host was 10/10. Chalet was as described. Check in a breeze. Beds were comfortable, lots of spare blankets and pillows. Chalet was perfectly clean. Everything worked as expected, no issues with anything in the kitchen and the hot tub was in perfect working...

"Everything was exceptionally clean!! The hosts answered any questions in a helpful and timely fashion. The only thing I would mention is that sound is not very insulated! You can hear upstairs everything in the basement-even whispers, the walls are very thin so be mindful of how much noise you make as to not wake others. Thanks to the hosts"

"This place is beautiful to say the least. All of the comforts & amenities of home, with attention to extras for families with small children. Everything you can possibly need, is provided, except I would have liked to see hand towels for the washrooms (I went into town & bought some). The owners are very quick & responsive to any questions & concerns, as well as extremely friendly. A few things I would like to mention, the hike down to the lake to where the dock is, is steep, slippery (more so...

"We were very happy with the little house. It had all we basically needed...There was one main thing, I need to comment on. When we arrived, the house needed airing out, as do any. There were not enough screens to do this in a timely manner. So, more screens,. A microwave would have been an added bonus.....overall, we enjoyed the cabin, and the huge deck., overlooking the lac....the boat deck was very sketchy, and needs major repair.. Thank you for letting us stay there.!!!!!"

"Great place to relax after skiing for families"

"We had a great stay! Our group comprised of two families, each with an infant. This was during the winter and we enjoyed sledding on the small hill behind the house. Can't beat that convenience! It was also a short drive to the city, old village, or the resort. Two of the four rooms were in the basement which was awesome as it allowed us to not disturb each other during the night"
