"Our stay was idyllic. This is a very peaceful space. It is rustic but with all the modern requirements. Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive with our questions and needs. It is a lovely hike down to a very secluded beach. My partner and I were here for a cycling adventure and our own yoga retreat and this property was perfect. Our only regret is that we didn't book it for the whole two weeks of our stay."

All facilities are in excellent working order and the owner is easily contactable for any issues. "Beautiful cottage, small but ideal for two. Lovely gardens. A bit of traffic noise because it's right above a bend on the main road to Frigiliana and, as others have mentioned, dogs barking through the night are off putting, but probably out with the owners control. Some information on the surrounding area, amenities etc. would be helpful.. The electric blanket, bathroom heater, air con heating and of course a great wood burning stove made this an excellent, cosy winter stay"

"The house is spacious and well equipped. There is a large plot around the house. The view on the valley and the town of Competa is very nice. However Competa is too far away for a walk to the village. The last part of the drive is somewhat challenging with a larger car."

"We absolutely loved the house. Although its a bumpy ride up the hill, it’s beautifully located in the mountains surrounded with mango and orange trees. We enjoyed swimming and using the outdoor kitchen. We even made pizza in the pizza oven. We hope to be back some time!"
