"The rooms were immaculate and even had a a book in there explaining the history behind the building which was really interesting. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great all for good pricing. The area is very quiet but there’s plenty of places to go that’s within walking distance or 5-10 minutes in the car but it truly is set out as the Victorian/Tudor era. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Overall amazing stay and would definitely come again!"

"My partner and I had a fantastic stay here. The room was lovely and very warm and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and very generous. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant one evening. Staff were all brilliant and extremely helpful. The swimming pool and hot tub were really nice, especially after a long hike. "We arrived later in the evening and were warmly welcomed. A table had already been reserved for us in the dog friendly area.. The dining offering was superb and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble. Probably the nest hotel stay we've had in many years of travelling."
