There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"A lovely little cottage that had everything you need. We stayed with our two young children. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it, but we have two areas that weren't perfect. Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "Property was lovely and spacious, bathrooms could do with either un upgrade or deep clean but were functional and plenty hot water. We didnt use cooking facilities etc, just really bed and sitting rooms, but all were comfortable. Parking on the street is a bit of a challenge as its so narrow but is available. Great wee pub at the end of the street. And plenty of takeaways deliver."

"Very enjoyable stay. The house has everything you need. The local area is lovely. We visited Abergavenny, Raglan Castle, Usk, (a great farm museum and Wendy’s private restaurant). The town of Crickhowell is a nice walk away and food at The Red Dragon was delicious!"

"From start to finish our experience at Cobblers cottage was a wonderful one. Located in a small rural village, the sound of the babbling stream and sheep are the only things you will hear during your stay. The property is very spacious with everything you will ever need for your time here. We visited with our dog and she was welcome at the property and even had some treats waiting for her!! "Our recent birthday holiday stay had its positives, but unfortunately, it didn't fully meet our expectations. The communication with the hosts was excellent—they were welcoming and even greeted us with Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The interior of the property was well done up, reflecting the effort put into its presentation. However, the location was not what we had anticipated.
