"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Warm welcome from Rob and Sherrie, lovely chilled atmosphere. Room was lovely, had all you could want. Bed comfortable, slept well.
Breakfast was delicious, sausage and bacon was truly tasty. Access via track, very deep holes in a couple of places, but this wouldn’t stop us and would recommend, great location for Welsh Botanic Garden. "

"A beatiful place. Rooms were immaculate. The guest room was a real bonus: large with panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast menu was extensive and very well cooked. I would recommend this to anyone."

"Super nice B&B in the welsh countryside... as close to a town (Ammanford) as you would want but far enough away to be rural. Rooms (we have stayed there twice in the past month) are really rather nice, showers have plenty of hot water and the hosts, Jane and Nigel, serve a breakfast that keeps you going for the rest of the day"

"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Reception was clean and spacious, and check-in was so easy as we had checked in remotely before arrival.
Our room (junior suite) was huge and really well equipped. Really comfy bed and an amazing nights sleep.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Watch out for the coffee - it’ll definitely wake you up!
We stayed for lunch after che out and we weren’t disappointed. Food was lovely - thank you chef.
If I had to find a negative to my stay it would be that we were advised that the garden suites below have fire pits and therefore to make sure the outer doors were shut. However, no-one mentioned to make sure that the vents on the side windows were closed. We didn’t notice that the vents were open so came back to find the room smelling of smoke.
A small omission, but it could make all the difference.
I must say that the team at Parkway are wonderful. All our interactions with staff were wonderful. Really efficient and friendly and very very helpful.
We will be booking again on our next trip to Wales. "
"The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful with a wide selection to choose from although somewhat pricey.
Hotel is located right in the centre of Hereford close to all shops, pubs and cathedral. "
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Food in restaurant very good. Excellent value for money. It's being refurbished and this does need to continue, as some parts are a bit 'tired', though still very clean. Main criticism would be the lighting - mis-matched and dull lighting in the bedrooms, would be an easy fix. Would definitely recommend though, given excellent value for money and great food."
"Had a lovely stay, bed was so comfortable, room was spotless. Staff friendly and nice to have a bar, after 5 hours driving.
Breakfast was lovely full English buffet and plenty of cereal, pastries, yogurt etc.
would definitely stay again "
"What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Amazing continental breakfast box, plenty of cereals, toast and jams. Great central location for exploring the town and surrounding areas. Highly recommend."
