"This hotel did not meet the level of service I would expect for the price point (~800/night). Unfortunately, during our stay my 4-year-old became ill while we were traveling in Italy, and when we asked whether any modification or flexibility was possible, the response was immediately “no” without much empathy or effort to help.
We were also charged extra because our child needed a separate bed, despite normally co-sleeping with us, and the room we were assigned felt noticeably less appealing than many of the other rooms and common areas in the hotel. The contrast in ambiance was obvious.
The location is convenient, but overall the experience lacked the warmth, flexibility, and hospitality I would expect from a luxury property, especially during a family emergency."
