"Immaculately kept residence in a very good area with excellent transport links into Funchal centre. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are very comfortable, spacious and have great views. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the waiting staff were helpful and pleasant and the main pool and pool areas were spacious with plenty of sun beds available. There is a cafe on site with semi limited hours. it was walkable to the main part of town but too much to walk back to since it is way up the hill (but it is doable for many). You can request a breakfast basket for a cost and we did it once and you can pick as many items as you want and it was very nice and well worth it. We would stay here again! "

"The room was clean, well appointed and very quiet. We were across from the elevator bank and didn’t hear them at all. The location is very good and so was the breakfast. I don’t think I’ve ever had better water pressure in the shower. Our only problem was our room seemed to be in a wifi dead zone. We had good service in the middle of the room but not at either end, including the balcony. The staff did try to rectify it but not much improvement. Would definitely stay again. "
