The Cactai was a great choice for a taste of Palm Springs and for a relaxing stay. The boutique hotel is fully updated and perfectly designed. We enjoyed not only our room but the pool and spa as well. Joel and Jacob were quick to respond to our needs and accommodating in every way. Great Job Cactai!

My lady and I were staying here for a couple of nights. I really loved Cactai but my lady didn't like the flooring in our room. I thought it was good because if you spill anything it would be an easy clean up. Anyway our room was excellent!!!!! We had a patio, a huge bed, a great size living room, and an amazing Japanese toilet. Oh we also had a full size kitchen with everything you would need. I know I'll be back!!!!!!

This hotel is truly remarkable and may very well be one of the finest hotels we have had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the seamless and efficient contactless check-in process, which set a positive tone for our stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is undoubtedly the pool. The pool area is beautifully designed, with comfortable loungers and landscaping that creates a tranquil atmosphere. Our room itself is well-appointed, featuring a mini kitchenette that adds an extra layer of convenience to our stay. The bathroom deserves special mention as well, boasting a modern design that is both stylish and functional. The heated toilet seat is a luxurious touch that we never knew we needed, and the remote-controlled features add an element of high-tech comfort that enhances our overall experience. This hotel has exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable getaway. We look forward to returning and enjoying all that this remarkable establishment has to offer once again.

** “Pull out bed” is a basic hard cushion folding couch/futon (see hotel photos) that is not flat when made into a bed.** Location does not appear to have staff on site. Check in was done via online form after reservation was confirmed. Received email with gate/room code after completing form. Room is nice but was extremely humid when I entered. A/c system took a while to figure out as it would not change temperature and ultimately set it to “dry” to help dehumidify room. Bathroom does not have ventilation/cooling/heating other than a window or leaving the door open for room a/c. Enjoyed the Euro bathroom with standing shower and auto bidet in toilet. Make sure to secure your car/belongings inside since parking is outside gated area open to transients.

Amazing hotel. Great value. Excellent vintage and mid century decor. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, shower great and room spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were the highlight. Comfortable pool lounges. A great place to stay. Just note there is no reception or staff on site. No issue for me but if you expect that type of service you may be disappointed but it was no issue for us, communication by whats app was good.

First and foremost this isn’t your typical hotel where there’s a front desk. If you need anything you have to “text a number.” I had an incident where I was provided with the code to the front door and my room at approx 2:30 pm on Friday 8/15 and I had booked the room til 8/17. After I had came into the room, I was in there for no more than 5 minutes when I had used the restroom to pee and upon flushing the toilet, there was a leak in one of their pipes which caused an explosion of water and led to flooding my bathroom. After I had experienced this I had flagged down the cleaners and they said they would have to contact their boss to “see what they can do.” After that I had reached out to the number provided for guests and spoke with Monty via text and told him about the situation. He then states he is unable to move me and the best he could do was to have them clean the bathroom. The fact that the hotel is fully booked is out of his control and I totally understand that. What really upset me was that instead of trying to make the situation better when I had asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience he states that he allowed me to have “early check in” when check in was at 3 and he had allowed me to check in at 230 when again, he sent me the code for the room I did not ask for it. And then to make things worse when I had asked again for some sort of compensation he states I could have ONE item from the minibar. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

We liked the vintage vibes and the property was well take care of. Pool and hot tub were pretty well maintained and having a private back patio area was also a plus. A little bit of a walk to the downtown core district. There was a musty smell in the room but that did clear up after a couple days and keeping windows open. AC worked well but was a little loud. Pack tight if possible as there are two small nightstands. Overal we had a pretty positive experience on a unique property.

I loved this place. The room was huge with a big kitchen and large bathroom. Everything was modern, such tasteful decor, high tech, all you’d want in a TV with apps/channels, super comfy king bed, amazing A/C, and we also loved the pool/hot tub. Would def stay here again.

A Must Stay In Palm Springs

Host was responsive, helpful, and courteous. The property was well maintained, serene, had an ice machine, and free filtered water (by the pool area). The room was beautifully decorated & equipped with everything I needed and more (e.g., coffee maker, microwave, etc.). This property will definitely be one I’ll stay again once I’m back in Palm Springs.

The property is renovated with an updated mid-century modern feel. Very stylish & appealing. It was quiet with a cozy tucked away feeling. The pool, hot tub were clean & perfect temperature & outdoor lounge furniture was plentiful & comfy. We had a double room. One bed was comfortable & one was very hard. The walk in shower & fancy bidet toilet was luxurious but there was a bit of noticeable water damage on the wall by the shower.
