"Great stay in La fortuna. Close to everything and beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Chato suite and it was awesome. People were all nice and even took us to see a sloth on the grounds. Breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend and will be back."

"Staff was great, room clean, all very attentive, friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, we enjoyed the fresh fruits."

"It was clean, Room was Comfy we had a very good view from our superior suite, and very good and private, though we saw ours was maybe most private little cabin they had. Nice lush garden right in front of room and walk to our cabin. Bed was comfy on soft side."

"This place was okay until I saw the mouse dropping on the table at breakfast. Because of this we were going to skip breakfast for the second morning. Unfortunately when we went to shower and brush our teeth there was no running water. Staff didn't seem very concerned about either issue when I shared so I would caution people to avoid unless this is acceptable to you. View was good but not really any better than many other views of Arenal Volcano."

"We stayed for 7 days in October of 2026 and absolutely loved our time at the property! They were the most accommodating and helpful staff we’ve encountered in our travels and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed! They gave us a free bottle of wine since it was our honeymoon and a free gift basket with localized sweets and treats on our fourth night there. The food was delicious and all the staff were knowledgeable about the surrounding area and spoke English very...

"Great resort! We stayed for 7 nights with the all-inclusive package. The food and drinks were incredible, and ALL staff were lovely and a pleasure to see every day. There was confusion with the all-inclusive package vs. the premium all-inclusive package, that was mis conveyed upon booking. Overall we were very pleased with our booking and stay, but would encourage to check the details of your booking prior to. It gets BRIGHT early in the day, and our room did not have any blackout curtains....

"Property was good but no entertainment, English TV channels etc. It didn’t fair well with the prices and 5 Star categories. Breakfast were being repeated with same Menu . It could have been better."
