"Love this hotel staff are brilliant and room was good but the pub across the road kept us awake till about 1am Feel that the pub could turn music down and shut open doors. This could be arranged with pub. Also people sitting outside asking for money during the day and drinking."

"The hotel is located in a superb position, on the side of a canal and a short walk into the historic town centre. All the staff were lovely. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide choice and well organised. The bar was well stocked and with a decent menu at reasonable prices. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. Staff were attentive and it was fun watching the ducks gallivanting around on the canal. Our only complaint was the lack of ventilation. Our visit took place during a long heatwave and our room was very hot unfortunately. We were supplied with an electric fan which was the most inefficient one ever produced in the history of mankind. Consequently sleeping was difficult. Air conditioning would have been ideal… or a proper fan!"

"We liked the location, ideal for Liverpool One bus station and an easy walking distance from Liverpool Lime Street train station. Good to see fresh bottles of water were supplied on a daily basis in the room and tea making facilities topped up too. The staff were polite and friendly. We didn't use the bar or any other facilities except the breakfast options. Asking on 2 separate days for poached eggs for 2 people - 3 on the first occasion (to find they were delivered to us in a small bowl - one egg on top of the other, and not the 3 we requested. One of the eggs was fine, the other - broken up and half of it missing). Advised another 2 would be brought in replacement - 1 arrived.... Second time - we requested 2 poached eggs and received them again, in a small bowl, one on top of the other. This makes absolutely no sense at all - eggs should be separate from each other. Serve them on a plate together but at least, don't pile them one on top of the other. That's from my partner, who is trained as a chef! The only other problem for us - no mini-fridge in the room, which is something we usually look for. We knew this and as a rule, it wouldn't be too much of a problem but, not in the summer months so the water supplied was never cold. Fabulous beds (deluxe double + single) and, pristine white bedsheets supplied. Perfect!"

"Titanic hotel was amazing and all staff very helpful a polite. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of food. The omelettes were freshly cooked and served to you. If you couldn’t see what you wanted ask. My only criticism would be that it was very dark outside our room and found it difficult to see where the key swipe card was, having to use the torch on our phone - however I guess if it’s too light it would spoil the effect."
