"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, we were trying out a new hotel as we visit the UWS frequently. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly, the housekeeping even more so. The room was pretty dated, and our sheets were literally torn and fraying everywhere which was really surprising for the cost and 4 star rating. Gym was tiny. What I really felt like I had to mention is the door men. Specifically the last one we interacted with. The last morning we were checking out and left 5 bags with the staff for a few hours. When we were leaving, I left to get the car and my wife stayed to get the bags. Initially the doorman just dumped all the bags in front of the bag check and she moved them to the side while she waited for me. When I pulled up she had to awkwardly ask the doorman for help, and when he finally moved to do so complained to her that our bag was really heavy. She was left with the bigger bags and he expected her to open the door for the two of them. Standing in the loading zone, he dropped the two bags on the wet side walk (it had been raining all morning) and asked “so is that all” as I was running around loading our suitcases into the trunk and my wife was holding two bags herself. He very dramatically threw his arms in the air, throwing a tantrum we weren’t immediately ready to hand him a tip and left. While yes it wasn’t the worst thing ever to happen, it really soured our experience not just at the hotel, but the whole trip :( "

"The room was a little outdated and small for a family suite. It had only 1 bathroom to accommodate 4 kids and 2 adults. For a suite I believe we should have had at least a half bath as well. The view was crappy, had a corner suite that was adjacent to a brick wall. The staff was excellent and the location was amazing. Thats the only reason I gave 4 stars for location and staff or else it would have been a 2. "

"Staff are very professional. The housekeeping team in 36th floor and lobby remind me of my cousins who can’t rest when things look messy. "

"The room was immaculate. The amenities were great and the bar was run very well. Edward on the door was so accommodating and professional. The reception staff need to be kinder and more helpful. They cause a lot of fuss one day due to a slight payment bissue. We had paid most of our bill but were having bank issues, the funds werent an issue its just my husband wasnt with me that day as he stayed out shipping with my daughter and i needed tonise his card. They werent allowing me back into my room and decativated my card. I was quite shocked by this approach to be honest and ive never expereinced such a lack of customer care at a hotel before. Otherwise our stay was lovely but there was no need for that treatment. "
