About this property

Quiet, private apartment on a 160-year-old farm. Attractions within 5 miles.

The apartment is on the second floor and includes 2 queen size beds, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen/dining room, and a living room with a large-screen TV and wifi. The kitchen is fully stocked and you can easily prepare your own meals on a smooth-top induction stove with an electric oven. The dining room table has 4 chairs and a bench. A washer and dryer are available to use. The comfortable living room makes it easy to kick back and relax. Board games for all ages are also available for fun family time.
A quiet, cozy oasis away from the noise of the world. Enjoy some country scenery, feed the cows an ear of corn, sit in the gazebo and read a book, or enjoy sitting around a fire in the fire pit in the backyard (wood, paper, and ignitor available upon request). All of these tranquil possibilities are at your fingertips. We are within 5 miles of Sight and Sound Theater, Kitchen Kettle Village, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Railroad, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, shopping, and great Pennsylvania Dutch restaurants. Several rail trails for bike riding are within a 30-minute drive. Hershey Park, Gettysburg, Lake Tobias, and Philadelphia museums are all easy day trips within an hour drive.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it's absolutely a hidden gem. Many amenities, comfy beds, wonderful showers with good pressure, games galore and overall, quite inviting. The host is just a text away if you have any questions. We just love this place!

Wonderful retreat

My sister and I stayed during a wedding weekend trip. The location was convenient to things to do but on a farm that was wonderfully quiet and serene. Great set up for short or longer stay. Would definitely go back.

A wonderful place!

This property is fantastic little getaway in the heart of farm country but within a few minutes of tourist attractions. It is extremely clean, spacious, and was equipped with everything we needed. The host is amazing and extremely responsive. We enjoyed interacting with the cows and donkeys, and playing near the little creek. The views are great, and outdoors area is very manicured. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely family getaway

The farm apartment was the perfect place to stay with our kids. Plenty of space for them to run around, swings, and animals in view. Centrally located for tourist activities, you could hear buggys driving past with the windows open. We had a blast meeting the cows and donkeys. The kitchen has everything you need. Beautiful gardens.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beth was very helpful and so considerate of her guests comfort. Her husband even set up a fire in their fire pit for us All we had to do was strike a match.

We had the most enjoyable stay here. The apartment was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. We loved all the details from local coffees to board games for the kids. The outside has beautiful landscaping surrounded by lush farm fields and friendly cows and donkeys. It was the perfect location for visiting the sights around Lancaster County. Very Relaxing

A perfect farm getaway!

I can’t say enough great things about this vrbo. The location is perfect, the place had everything we needed, and the hosts were amazing. If you have small children this is your place. From feeding cows, to tractors, to walks around the farm, my two year old had the time of his life just on the property. We will definitely be returning!

A nice quiet getaway!

Our family enjoyed the peaceful and quietness of the farm. It was cool to see the crops, cows, and donkeys driving up to the apartment. Beth was a great host! Perfect Family Getaway

We were thoroughly impressed with the accomodations. Everything was clean and well maintained. Beth and Rob were absolutely incredible and took great care of us - going out of their way to show us their gorgeous farm and farm animals. On our last night, our 2 year old even exclaimed that he "loves this farm". Thank you for such an amazing experience! We truly hope we can stay here again!
